The IPA Foundation applies for a 5-year exemption from aspects of the Competition Act. The application covers the following important areas:
1. Collective bargaining between the #IPAF and medical schemes and medical scheme administrators;
2. Alternative reimbursement models; and
3. Collective or centralised procurement.
The Competition Commission South Africa invites written representations as to why the exemption should, or should not, be granted.
